What is Tire Oil?

　　The oil extracted from waste tires through the pyrolysis process is tire oil. Due to the special properties of tire rubber, fuel oil extracted from waste tires usually presents the characteristics of heavy oil. Heavy oil, also known as fuel oil, is a petroleum product with high viscosity and high boiling point.

　　Compared with light oil(such as gasoline and diesel), heavy oil has a larger molecular weight and contains more long-chain hydrocarbons. The color is usually darker, and compared with traditional light oil, it is almost black. It contains more long-chain hydrocarbons, its viscosity is relatively high and its fluidity is poor. The boiling point of heavy oil is also high, so it is not easy to volatilize at room temperature. Heavy oil has a high calorific value and is suitable for applications that require continuous and stable heat output. For example, cement plants, steel plants, ceramic plants, power plants, etc. can all use heavy oil as fuel to meet their high heat needs. In addition, this heavy oil can also be converted into higher-quality diesel after further distillation, and it has wider applications.
