Pyrolysis: Heating the oil sludge to a certain high temperature in an oxygen-free environment, where complex hydrocarbons break down into volatile oil gases.
Oil gas cooling: Condensing the oil gases into liquid fuel oil through a cooling system, capturing the primary recoverable resource.
Gas cleaning and recovery for heating: Purifying non-condensable syn-gas to remove impurities like sulfur, then redirecting it to the reactor’s heating system to create a self-sustaining energy cycle.
Slagging: Discharging the cooled solid residue (slag) from the reactor, ready for further utilization.
This streamlined process yields three valuable outputs: recoverable fuel oil, solid residue, and syn-gas—all of which can be sold as commodities or reused in industrial operations, maximizing both environmental and economic returns.
- Fuel oil: we can obtain about 60% fuel oil, which can be used ad heating fuel in heavy oil machineries, such as cement plant, steel plant, metallurgical plant, glass plant, power plant etc; or be refined into low level diesel to enlarge applications.
- Slag: we can obtain about 30% slag, which can be used as building materials to make road foundations and bricks.
- Syn-gas: we can obtain about 10% syn-gas, which can be used to heat pyrolysis reactor as heating fuel after purifying.
