Polyethylene (PE) is one of the most widely used plastics worldwide, accounting for a large proportion of plastic packaging, household products, agricultural materials, and industrial goods. Traditional mechanical recycling methods impose strict requirements on the cleanliness of PE plastics; consequently, contaminated plastics cannot be effectively recycled. While pyrolysis technology provides a good solution.
Pyrolysis is a thermal decomposition process that heats plastic waste in an oxygen-free environment, breaking long polymer chains into smaller hydrocarbon molecules. After condensation, these hydrocarbons become pyrolysis oil, while combustible gas and a small amount of solid residue are also produced. Because polyethylene is composed mainly of hydrocarbons, it is considered one of the most suitable feedstocks for plastic pyrolysis and can achieve relatively high oil yields compared with many other plastic materials.

A modern plastic pyrolysis machine can recycle most common polyethylene products generated from households, commercial activities, agriculture, and industrial production. This includes Low-Density Polyethylene (LDPE), High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE), as well as mixed polyethylene waste collected through municipal or industrial recycling systems, suhc as plastic bags, agricultural mulch films, greenhouse films, packaging films, woven PE products, etc.

Pyrolysis oil: a high-quality heating fuel with a calorific value of about 10000 kcal/kg. It is widely used in boiler plants, cement plants, steel plants, brick plants, glass plants, heavy oil power plants, heating centers, and other fields;
Carbon black: can be directly sold or made into briquettes to replace coal for industrial heating. The calorific value is equivalent to coal and charcoal, and it can be further refined to produce various rubber products.

Syn gas: after purifying, it an be collected to heat the pyrolysis reactor to save operation cost.
