What is tyre pyrolysis oil?...
（picture：What is Tyre Pyrolysis Oil?）
As we know the major content of tires is rubber, waste tire pyrolysis is to heat the rubber and make it undergo a cracking reaction at a high temperature to turn it into liquid oil from the breaking of macromolecular bonds. So, do you know what kind of oil the liquid oil refined from waste tires?
After the tyre pyrolysis process, the oil extracted from waste tyres is “tyre pyrolysis oil”, also called “heavy oil”, “crude oil”, or “furnace oil”. This oil is neither diesel nor gasoline. It is usually used as fuel for industrial or boiler heating, such as cement factories, glass factories, steel factories, etc. Because of its high calorific value and low cost, it is in high demand by many, so the price and market of tire pyrolysis oil have been very good.
There is another use of the tyre pyrolysis oil, that is, oil distillation equipment. After distilled, cooled and decolorized, non-standard diesel can be obtained. This diesel oil can be used in ships, power generators, agricultural machinery, etc.
Due to the energy shortage in some countries or the control of the coal industry, some enterprises choose the way of electric heating, but due to the high cost of electric heating, choosing tyre pyrolysis oil as industrial fuel can not only reduce the production cost and increase the profits.
